DigiXVault

Why I started this.

My family is scattered across the world - different countries, different time zones, whole years between visits. They taught me things in their own voices, in their own words, and aren’t always a phone call away. And the truth is, none of us are promised forever with anyone.

DigiXVault started small - a way to keep keepsakes for my own children. A voice memo of me telling them a story. A photo with the story behind it, written down before it got fuzzy. Something they could hold onto that wasn’t just a name in a family tree, but an actual voice, an actual person, telling them who they are and where they come from.

It grew from there, because the need was never just mine. Every family has stories that live only in someone’s memory, and every family is one missed conversation away from losing them. DigiXVault is my attempt to make holding onto those stories as easy as it should have always been - not a project for someday, but something you can start recording today, in five minutes, in your own words.

What we believe

Consent, always

Voice cloning only ever happens with the explicit, revocable consent of the person whose voice it is - never anyone else's call to make.

In their own words

Every voice in a vault belongs to the person who recorded it. Storyteller mode reads stories aloud - it never invents them.

Yours to keep

Export everything, anytime, on any plan, in formats that open on any computer with no login and no subscription. A memory kept here is never held hostage.

Private by default

A vault belongs to the family in it - never public, never sold, never used to train anything beyond the voice its own owner chose to clone.
